Wine & Spirits® Weigela features showy clusters of white trumpet-shaped flowers along the branches from late spring to early summer, which emerge from distinctive light green flower buds. It has attractive burgundy-variegated dark green foliage. The pointy leaves are highly ornamental and turn an outstanding deep purple in the fall. The smooth gray bark and dark red branches add an interesting dimension to the landscape.
